Expression 1

cheap

Costing little money, especially compared with similar things.

Nuance: It can be positive about price, but look cheap often suggests poor quality; inexpensive is more neutral for price alone.

The tickets were cheap because we booked early.

The bag looked cheap, although its price was high.

Expression 2

affordable

Within the amount that a person or group can reasonably pay.

Nuance: Use affordable for someone; affordability depends on a budget, so it is not identical to a low price.

We need a coat that is affordable for our family.

The course became affordable for me when I received a discount.

Expression 3

good value for money

Worth the amount paid because of the quality, usefulness or quantity received.

Nuance: It compares what you get with what you pay; something can be good value but still exceed your budget.

The warm, well-made coat was good value for money.

The ticket included a performance and a workshop, so it was good value for money.
